From the moment he first picked up the guitar at the age of eight, Jones embarked on a quest to push the boundaries of the jazz guitar tradition like never before. His early years were a melting pot of musical exploration, from the soulful strains of Jimi Hendrix to the soul-stirring sounds of James Brown and Curtis Mayfield. The turning point came when Jones joined the legendary Dizzy Gillespie's quartet, embarking on a transformative three-year journey.
