Shelby Lewis (Host/Director) is a Los Angeles-based actress, director, and educator who specializes in Shakespeare and physical theatre. She holds a BFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and a Master’s degree in Theatre Education from University of Northern Colorado. Shelby is also a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and guest instructor for Interlochen Center for the Arts. Before moving back to LA, Shelby worked with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic for various concerts as both a narrator and a disability in the arts consultant—creating universally designed sensory-friendly performances. On-camera, she recently filmed a supporting role in the feature-length psychological thriller Dungeon_Crawl.EXE and the lead role in the USC MFA dramatic short film Metamorphosis. Shakespeare has always been one of Shelby’s deepest passions. Favorite stage credits include Othello (Desdemona), As You Like It (Rosalind), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth), King Lear (Goneril), Richard III (Richmond), Julius Caesar (Portia), and Romeo and Juliet (Juliet). She is also a monologue coach for high schoolers preparing college program auditions, and has a YouTube channel called Shelby Loves Shakespeare with tutorials and performance examples. www.shelbylewisofficial.com
